Mal-O-Sen offers a wide selection of laminate counter top edge styles to fit any decor.

For best results printing the CAD drawings, use landscape setting on your printer.
End Splashes
Mal-O-Sen offers many different end splash styles. The 2 most common styles are; standard end splash and overlay end splash.
The standard end splash is attached with screws to the end of the counter top. There are detailed instructions on how to install this style of end splash on our 'DIY Help' page in the 'Apply End Splash' section.
The standard end splash varies with the style of counter top the end splash is attached to. The front edge can be square (single cove, laminate bevel, wood edge & postformed), radius on top (postformed) or radius top and bottom (180°Wrap & D-Edge).
The overlay end splash sits directly on top of the counter top and is available for the postformed style counter top only.
To install the overlay end splash it is simply secured to the counter top and wall with silicone adhesive.
This style is popular with the do it yourself person because the end splash can cover a gap of up to 5/8" between the wall and end of counter top.

New VTI Laminate Counter Top Edge Styles
Mal-O-Sen is pleased to announce that we have teamed up with VT Industries of Iowa to become a distributor of VTI's Barcelona and Valencia laminate counter tops.
VT Industries was established in 1956 and is a wholesale manufacturer of fine laminate counter tops.
With this partnership we will be able to offer our customers the widest variety of laminate counter top edge styles.
The Barcelona is a contemporary ogee and the Valencia is a full wrap ogee, these edge styles will be available in 8', 10' and 12' lengths in Formica and WilsonArt full lines except gloss finishes. Display tops are available.

Standard Counter Top Specifications
Standard Mal-O-Sen counter top lengths are 8', 10' and 12' long. Standard counter top depths are kitchen 25-1/2", vanity 19-1/2" and 22-1/2", island 27" and 36". Other depths may be special ordered. Standard back splash height is 3". Other back splash heights may be special ordered.
Please note that the VTI standard vanity depth is 22-1/2" only.
Wood edged counter tops are available in 5 different species that include oak, maple, birch, cherry and hickory. Wood edge counter tops are supplied unfinished only. The customer or installer is responsible for finish sanding, staining and sealing of the wood edges.
All the wood edge photos above are shown with oak.
